Family Trail: Sportsfest 2026

This year will see the world competing in many major sporting events from the 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, not to mention all of the annual sports competitions! This family trail is inspired by sporting events around the world while exploring stories from REME history.

Follow the trail around the museum's galleries, fill out your trail sheet and tally up your points in order to complete the trail and claim your place as a champion!

Look out for the banners - pick up a trail pack in the WW2 Gallery and then... on your mark, get set, go!

Simply book your tickets as usual, then let our Reception staff know you'd like to take the Sportsfest Trail! They'll make sure you know where to go, what to do and where to grab your trail pack, then it's up to you to see if you can be the champion!

During your visit, check out the Gift Shop or grab a refreshment from Crown's Cafe.
