The REME Museum is supported by a team of hard-working and enthusiastic volunteers who work across a number of areas of our operation. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming and supportive place to volunteer and we value the contribution our volunteers make. Volunteering is a good way to meet new people, gain new skills and support the museum.

Practical considerations

We are able to provide travel expenses covering 30p per mile, or your public transport ticket, up to a maximum value of £25 per journey.

All volunteers are entitled to receive 10% discount in the REME Shop and Crown's Café.

REME Museum t-shirts/polo shirts will be provided to all volunteers working in public-facing roles.
