Ready for a new challenge? Head to the REME Museum this Summer Holidays for STEM Workshops designed to get young people using the principles of engineering while having fun!

'Rocket Powered'

Every Tuesday

Drop-in sessions, Education Suite

Working in family groups or individually, design and launch your own bottle rocket or air powered car!

A woman and a boy sit at a table using different materials to make something.

These workshops will teach you to use the same principles of engineering as astronauts... it literally is rocket science!

LEGO® Engineering

Every Wednesday and Friday

Pre-bookable sessions, Education Suite

Unleash your inner engineer and build a vehicle from genuine LEGO® parts that will actually drive!

Children and an adult at a table with LEGO vehicle parts.

Led by our Education Officer, Andrew, these sessions are limited in capacity to allow for suitable supervision, please book your space in advance to avoid disappointment. Recommended for ages 7 and above.

LEGO® Engineering Workshop booking will open within a week of Half Term. To pre-book your session, please book your general admission tickets on a suitable date, then add on a LEGO Workshop ticket (one per group). You'll then be able to choose your time slot.

Rubber Band-Powered Cars

Every Thursday

Drop-in sessions, Galleries

Who needs batteries? Release your engineering excellence and the power stored in a rubber band when you make and race your own rubber band-powered car!

Led by our Education Officer in our dedicated Education Suite, there's no need to book these sessions, simply drop in! Recommended for ages 6 and above.
